Iranian 8mm??

Hey guys got a line on a ton of cheap iranian 8mm is this stuff suitable to shoot in a F/A 42??

What's on the headstamp ?

It's 198grain on the base is what looks to be a crown and a bunch of, I guess, Persian writing in 3 locations

60 yr old ammo is a little too old for me.

My MG dealer has a FA 34 and 42 and he will not let any of that Iranian ammo near it. I guess the loads differ from super hot to not hot enough. The best ammo out there for decent price now is the Romanian. AIM may still have a little left from their huge stockpile.

That's what I thought. Thanx for the info. Aim is out of the romy stuff in fact the only place I can find it is gun broker once in a while
