Soviet Troops and the MG42

Just watched an episode of WWII in color on the Military Channel. About half way through this episode it showed some of Marshall Zhukov's troops pausing for resupply at the Oder river prior to the final push to Berlin. While watching some Soviet infantrymen moving along a roadway I noticed a couple of soldiers carrying MG42's! Good documentory.
