Granted, I haven't seen too many of these for sale but $300+??? Will be interesting to see where it ends up.
And weren't' there a batch of repos floating around a few years ago? Is the listing the real deal?

First legit slab handle I've seen in a long time.
Cool looking on the gun, but difficult to use. The newer style has compound leverage for the first few cm of pull to unlock the bolt from the barrel. Without the advantage of compound leverage, it can be very difficult to separate the two. That's why the slab charging handles were replaced with the second style.

.....do you remember when MARSTAR sold original MG42 slab-sided cocking-handle-assemblies for $75 each (?).

I'm trying to forget the prices of the past. No sense crying over spilt milk. The days of buying $100.00 Lugers and the like are LONG gone. Most of the really fun classic collectables are hard to find at any price. You've seen how RC k98s have disappeared from gun shows, and the rusty peened out dregs are going for $450.00 each. Just happy to have the small collection I have.
