Whoa........I'm still dreaming. I got a call today about an order from Ed at Centerfire. "Are you still wanting to buy the M53 ?" I told him hold on let me check (actually to catch my breath) and then processed the payment......

Yikes (in a good way) ~ $2716 later it's processed and on the way to my local gun shop to be picked up next Monday or Tuesday. Those 6-months on a list finally paid off !!! .........wow - someone pinch me !

The WLA M53 looks like a fine piece of machinary as well as investment as they likely will never lose their value. The fact you could flip it tomorrow on Gunbroker and make a couple of hundred dollars shows it is doing better than our 401Ks

Are all the M53's being built semi by WLA or does CenturyArms also put one together ?

The M53's being sold by Century are built by WLA. I recently bought a WLA M53 myself BTW. It's a fun gun to shoot and sure does draw attention. Congrats on getting one.

Just came in today and picked it up ~ schw-e-e-e-e-ee-e-t-tt-t !

Came in a pine box w/rope handles, manual, 100-rd belt, and ammo box. I plan on posting pics later on tonight if I get the chance. Got a big one of these on my face --> .......and I think it's permanent.

After seeing the pics of your gun I put one on order! Your gun looks great. How noticable is the crest on the cover? Is there a source for rail alignment / bucking fixture for the rails for sale anywhere? I need one for a couple of Pete Stout rewelds that I have.

How noticable is the crest on the cover?

It's not too bad.........it's faint from a few feet away though the COPJ underneath is quite deep.

You can always swap the cover for a German one later if desired......
