installing the barrel

Post by Jason »

I think I have a problem. I installed the recuperator but when I try to install the bbl I have to compress the head of the recuperator a little to get it started on the angled portion of the bbl. something does not seem right.

the recuperator is all the way back against the 'L' piece and the bolts are installed.

anyone encounter this before? or is it normal?

the forward bolt that holds the front of the recuperator has a long side and a short , the long side goes facing the butt-stock I'm 99% sure.
"good , bad, .....I'm the man with the gun."

Its amazing anything works right around here with a bunch of
over-age juvenile delinquents running the place.

thanks. I think that I have it facing to the rear but I'll double check.

Is your bolt to the rear when installing the barrel?

yep, the bolt in the front of the recuperator was facing forward. kind of a dumb mistake because somewere it was posted that it went in pointing to the rear. lesson learned. thanks for the info
