See-I told you!! :D This is not at all like the other-but either will work.Is this type availlable anywhere? Thanks for the pic! ---bil

Yes it appears that the orig MG34 adaptor has a longer bracket than the repro being made.

this is a repro head I got from blitzbikes. It's on a post war AA extention for the Laffette.

Thats very nice. If I could get the exact measurements..........I wouldnt mind trying to make one. I know it would be alot of work but I am taking a welding/metal working class real soon and this could be a very nice project. But I would need the exact measurements, thinkness of the steels/metals, and such.

Forget making the connector piece unless your an experienced machinist.You need a lathe and a milling machine with a rotary table.
