Hi guys, need some advice from you skilled types. I need to swap rear sights out on my panzermantel shroud because it has some corrosion. I have a spare shroud with good sight. Has anyone done this? Which way does the little axle stop pin drive out? (F? R?). I really just need to change the elevating notch. Are the two little stop pins individual, or are they one long pin? Do they pull out or drive through the bar? Did I mention that I'm 63, losing my vision, and my tools consist of a tire iron and a 16D nail.....no, really, any secrets? Should I forget it?
First one to post "forget it" will talk me out of it! Some waffenmeister could offer to do it for me.....Thanks up front....Phil

Re: Rear sight removal
the pin at the top of the sight pushes out left or right. it is one long pin. you just need a punch with a flat end that is the same diameter or less than the diameter of the pin to push it out with the help of a small hammer or something to tap the punch. easy to do. - matt
