Roman numeral markings?

Anybody know what these are? Or have you seen similar on your guns?

One “V” located on interior right side by the ejection port and another “V” also on right side below the flash hider detent.

Gun is coded as 1944 Mauser Werke Borgiswalde assembled and arz (Deutsche Kühl- und Kraftmaschinen Brand-Erbisdorf) stamped receiver.

Interesting, I have not seen anything like that before.

Found some more. This time on a bpr feed tray. Although this looks more like an "A" but, the font is the same.
