Value of MG 34 Parts Kit

Post by MDMike »

I have been thinking about parting with my MG-34 parts kit that I've had here for about 10 or so years. I've come to the conclusion that I'm never going to put it together. Any idea of worth? I thought I'd put it on here instead of one of the auction sights. Thanks in advance, Mike.....

Well the good news is that the value has gone up.... Search out gunbroker and see what's up for sale and go from there. I believe that they have been selling for $1,000 to $1,600. Up to condition and cut of the receiver and other such. Believe that I only saw one for sale at the creek and it was in the $1,500 area.

If you want to sell it quick offer it for less than $1,000.

Yes, show us. What value could an old kit have, anyway? Remember how kits came ten years ago?
-Matching #s throughout - cover, shroud, receiver
-Receiver hacksawed in half
-Clearly marked, BSW 1938, no deface, lots of eagles
-Bakelite stock with metal edges
-Regler parts in the f/c system
-perfect grips
-slobbered in cosmoline
-packed in a box with a sling stuffed into a complete gunner's kit
Good luck getting rid of that!
All kidding aside, there's not much assembly to a -34. If you need a display receiver, Brp has one left, or maybe one of us could help you get that part assembled. Good luck...Phil
