there have been complete homebuilt sa42s sold here and on auction sights from time to time . more often the guy will re-demill the gun so he doesn't have to put his name on it. this is done out of fear of liability in this sue happy world we live in.Traveler57 wrote: So, should I assume that no one here has ever sold one of their home-builts?
this is the slippery slope, your building it FOR PROFIT thats an important distinction. you have two sons ? build two guns so they both can inherent one . Its not written in the law anywhere but i think a good rule is to hold anything you've built for over a year before you sell it , just to demonstrate your not in the business of making firearms for sale.
