1: A tooth is broken off the sprocket causing the unit to feed unevenly and jam:
Does anyone know of spare parts availability to replace the sprocket assembly?
2: For some reason the rounds are not being pushed into the belt quite far enough:
I can push them in by hand, but this doesn't seem right. I have disassembled, cleaned and lubed the machine and other than the broken sprocket tooth, it looks to be in good shape.
First thing is that the belt is not right.....you can't load them with the MG3 loader. That belt is actually for the MG74 to the best of my knowledge....it is not DM1. It is made from individual links interleaved. DM1 links are held together with little spring looking joiners. They'll run in the 42 but not the loader. Second thing is to make sure you're putting the belt in between the sprockets and that your pusher is pushing far enough. I've seen a pretty good number of the loaders that are worn and have the pusher broken off......
